PERSONAL TRAINING/ONE-TO-ONE CLASSES

Private classes are offered for individuals or groups of four or less at Glenflesk, Killarney.

For the initial one-to-one session, the following two types of class are offered:
OPTION ONE:
A one hour class of your choice, which can either be -
YOGA - concentrating mainly on asanas (postures), to open up the whole body; standing, sitting, laying and upside down postures. Ending with gentle guided relaxation.
OR
INFINITE TAI CHI & CHI KUNG combined. Starting with a series of Chi Kung exercises to raise the Chi or Energy. Then moving on to the 1st stage of the Infinite Tai Chi Form, learning a series of graceful flowing meditative movements.
OPTION TWO
A two hour combination class-
Usually beginning with a series of INFINITE CHI KUNG exercises to stimulate the Chi throughout the body, moving into the YOGA ASANAS to open and stretch the entire body, followed by stage one of the graceful flowing INFINITE TAI CHI FORM and a guided Meditation to end. The extra time really allows for a fuller experience of all the above disciplines.
After the initial session, I will have a good understanding of your requirements and any subsequent classes will be personalised to assist you in your growth.
One-to-One sessions allow for individual attention and can address specific concerns. Each of the disciplines above offer innumerable practices which create specific effects and benefits for the individual. I often recommend certain techniques for you to continue practicing at home, which will create health and balance in your life and can target specific issues.
If a person decides to come for just one visit they will certainly have a good "taster" of the discipline concerned. More regular visits will allow for deepening into the practice and creating more long term benefits.
People choose one-to-one classes for all sorts of reasons. Some don't have a life or work schedule which allows them to attend regular group classes, more have specific concerns they need help with or want to try a taster session, while others may have fears around body image or social phobias. Whatever the reason, personal training classes offer you a peaceful and supportive space to retreat from the external world for a little time and experience a deeper connection with your self.I am always available to assist you throughout your practice.
